Online bullies can get money or fame from it - or be exempt from bullying. Have you read about gamergate? All it takes is one disgruntled ex to twist everything around and play puppet master with other people to make someone a target. And the targets are not just subject to nasty words or comments - they are physically attacked . It seems a lot of these sites have unofficial "patrollers" who think that if someone is not independently wealthy they must be a scammer - what do you think - is someone who is not wealthy automatically someone you do not want to date? What are you looking for a bank account or a companion? Wow, that's a lot to think about! It's crazy how online bullying can have such serious consequences. I believe wealth shouldn't determine someone's worth or who you want to date. I look for a great companion, not a bank account! It's all about connecting with the right person, don't you think? |
