Is it too hard to find a match nowadays? okey, I am speaking from the real world and online too. What is happening?

I don't think it's impossible, but I do think it gets much more difficult as we get older. We become much more selective about the kinds of people we are interested in, and more picky about what we are willing to tolerate. Even when we do find someone completely amazing, it's not always easy to meld two lives in a compatible way. If both are independent people, it takes a lot of work, commitment and compromise.

wow, to some extent there is some truth about older ladies. They really know what they want and maybe wouldn't want to settle for less. The level of maturity and reasoning also determines on how one can find a match. That said, I will remain hopeful.

Yes it is possible but a few things are different when you've been around the block a few times, in other words: have gotten a little older and hopefully wiser. (not all have latter!)

Good thing: you know from what you've learnt what it is that you need to feel fulfilled and happy in life and in a relationship. So you have more clarity on what kind of partner would be a good match.
That should narrow the search.

Potential less pleasant thing: having been around the block can mean you come across more 'damaged goods' than when younger.

Then again, like attracts like. Meaning if you are empowered the chances of meeting another who's also empowered are much larger.

I agree on becoming more selective as you age.....but sometimes it can rule out everyone!
