I had NO idea that a walrus could be so big! They can get really long, and heavy, and the male tusk can get up to 1 meter in length?!
I didn't know.
I came across this clip, the rare occasion where a famished polar bear is trying to get a walrus meal. In comparison the polar bear -not a small animal itself- looks harmless and not really all that big.

I had no idea until I'd seen this!

Walruses are very dangerous creatures.

And polar bears have a pretty tough life in general. Check out what the male has to go through during mating sometime.

Yeah, apparently. They can attack humans out of self-defence and have even capsized boat :/
And they can run as fast as a human, pffff... Apparently running on all fours. Who would think that?

There was a Zoo director from Columbus, Ohio. Jack Hanna, who became a little famous in the US, and I saw him give a appearance at the Idaho Falls. He had Q and A. One of the most dangerous animals to meet up in the wild is, in his opinion, the Polar Bear.

Yes it is. Not only is a big, it can walk on land AND swim very well, even in those cold waters. It is smart, and.. it will hunt humans too.

Black bears, brown bears, polar bears, grizzly bears; any animal with the name "bear" is not to be messed with, period.

Only the fastest of humans can match the speed of a polar bear (and that's on a specially engineered track with gloriously crafted shoes).

The bears have been spotted swimming 300km into the open ocean, and can even swim underwater quite happily. They are ruthless and patient hunters. And yet, they can be spontaneously playful and gentle with domestic work dogs.
