Yet, I am very close to the beach

I live on the shore of a Great lake. The water's colder than a well diggers hinder and full of fish poop and other nasty things.

I've got the Gulf of Mississippi,
and the beautiful Texas shoreline just a few hours south from here. I never go during tourist season. |

I think I’ll just stay here in the beautiful mountains of Almost Heaven, West Virginia
