I heard your voice,
And it still haunts me,
So enchanting, so out-worldly,
As if coming from a dream..

Been long and haven't seen you,
No end to this waiting game,
And when we meet again,
Will everything still be the same..

So much was unsaid,
With this sudden lock down,
Seems we are so distant,
Though living in nearby towns..

Maybe we will come to our senses,
And end this connection for once,
Maybe the guilt will fade away,
For what things were done..

With the ongoing situation,
The uncertainty and dangers,
I guess when we meet again,
We will be total strangers..

Maybe it is for better,
For happiness can't be found,
By causing hurt and pain,
For the happiness of others,
Lets erase our memories so well,
No trace of our love and affection remain..
