Totally understand ... I mean for creative purposes ... such as for the undiscovered poets on here ... it could be enlightening to re-post some of their works for new Minglers to enjoy .... but otherwise.....try and come up with new ideas etc ... I don't think the Mods think that 7 year old threads are " in progress "...... in progress to me is .... current or at least 6 months old .... @Slim - it solely depends on a person's interest in reading old threads on poems n not all are really interested in poems, I agree N when a person is able to relate the pain or an emotion expressed in the poem with his/her past or current situations, that person tends to appreciate the efforts of that poet, not bothering whether a thread is new or old! Who knows, if that poet is still in mingle, it would really bring an inner happiness which remains unmeasurable☺ These can be ignored if it doesn't interest oneself n assumptions on making new minglers enjoyable doesn't go in hand with this hope new minglers have lots to enjoy other than these
