I just signed up with a different photo hosting site. It's much better and has more editing options. So I will start posting more pictures now.

Yesterday was amazing. I stopped at a few rest areas to relax and enjoy being out in nature. Virginia has the best rest areas... one in particular had a wooded area with little trails.

For anyone looking for love, I figured it out. You have to go to Virginia...

This is another photo I had taken at Nay Aug Park. It's one of the trails I walked to get to the waterfalls

Virginia Safari Park was very cool.

I thought I had about 5 videos, one with 10 minutes or so of video footage, which also included the Zebra... But apparently you have to push the button to get the recorder to start.

The park has 180 acres for the animals to roam free in. This is the front view from the parking lot, going left to right...









A lot of the path was wooded, with twists and turns, and very steep hills to climb and go down. There were a couple spots I prayed the animals would stay out of the road so I could make it to the top. I only had to stop once in the middle, almost got stuck, haha.

When I first entered the drive thru area, I was greeted with a bunch of llamas. The one in the picture was the only one I was able to feed... He was very diligent and refused to share, haha. I ended up letting him keep the bucket so I could drive off and enjoy the rest of the safari

Did you know giraffes have black tongues? I didn't, hahaha. After she devoured the lettuce from my first cup, I hand fed her one leaf at a time.

This ostrich definitely is not shy. She was one of the stars in the video I thought I took. She kept poking her head in my car to see what kind of goodies I had. At one point we were face to face by about 4 inches.

That's enough photos for now. I'm heading for breakfast.

On today's agenda is visiting the Natural Bridge, and then heading to North Carolina.

But he definitely was a character, had me laughing like crazy. I keep getting the Emu's mixed up with the Ostriches, haha. They had Ostriches too. :)
