Hey River, Beautiful pics I haven’t traveled very much so it’s nice to be able to see some of the beauty of Mother Nature that our country has ...hope you have another day of amazing travels, and be safe out there! Thanks Dee I'll be leaving NC tomorrow and stopping in Macon, GA for the night. While there, I'm visiting Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park. It's a prehistoric Native American Site. On Monday, I'll be heading to the camp in Florida for a few days. |

My visit with Stormy over the last couple days was awesome! I haven't laughed so much in a really long time.
Parting is such sweet sorrow.... Nooooo, I don't want to go Time to get back on the road, I have about a 6 to 7 hours drive to Macon. Have a wonderful day everyone! |

Awww, poor Zoe And thank you, I forgot to ask you to say goodbye to TheKid for me.
Ocmulgee National State Park was amazing. I got there just in time to watch a short video that talked about the history of the land. Very interesting. I have pictures that I will share later. Right now I just want to veg out in my nice comfy room. |

I cant wait to see the pictures. Is the site worth visiting again? How was the energy?

That’s awesome that you had a nice visit with Stormy....that makes your long trip so much better!
Looking forward to seeing some more pics |

I cant wait to see the pictures. Is the site worth visiting again? How was the energy? The energy wasn't uplifting, it was mostly solemn and I sensed a deep sadness. Not so much in the museum, but out on the mounds, especially on the Great Temple mound, and in the Earth Lodge. It's hard to say if I would go again. Probably not. Historically, it's an amazing place and definitely worth it if you are interested in the history of American Indians. But I think going once was enough. |

So it's my first night in the haunted hotel, haha. My room is lovely, a lot bigger than I was thinking it'd be. And the front desk lady and other staff were super friendly and very cool.
I've been roaming around the area a bit. And vegging out on the huge porch outside my door, watching the thunderstorms all around the area. I will post pics in the morning. I have to wait until daylight to go walking around... they recommend not going out after dark unless you are with a group of people. Hmmm, ghosts maybe? I'll let you know tomorrow |

It's not as dark as I'd like it, but that's okay. |

Decisions, decisions, hahaha! There's so much to see and do here. I could spend two weeks and probably not see all of it.
Aside from doing a self guided tour walk around the spiritual camp, I've narrowed it down to 2 or 3 places I want to visit. The tour includes the fairy garden... can't wait to see that! Blue Springs State Park, Hontoon Island State Park, and DeLeon Springs State Park. I might end up only picking one of them, and spend the rest of my time exploring the neighborhood and park where I'm at. I just did further research of the area, and apparently the bed and breakfast place I'm checking into, tomorrow, has two vortexes on property. Only guests are allowed to experience them, so I'm totally excited about that. Well, off for a little walk around the block |

Hope you have a fabulous day, River
Pics are amazing again!! Love all the very bright colors in that restaurant. Thanks for the sunrise |
|

Glad you made it there safely! Loving all the gorgeous pics...that sunrise
How was the haunted motel? That would be an awesome place to stay... I find haunted places to be so intriguing That’s partly because I spent most of my childhood staying and living in our local historical cemetery gatehouse. My Father was the 3rd generation of my family to be the caretakers...and my brother took over when he retired. I live only 4 blocks away from it now. So many good memories Looking forward to hearing about your adventures for the day and the pics of course! |
