"Boomerang" (1992)
Starring Eddie Murphy & Halle Berry. It's sweet, although Grace Jones is an absolute scene stealer. She gives true lol moments. I love seeing the early 90's fashion. I'll never understand why men wore such oversized jackets? But, I still live for the suits.

I gave up on Station 19. Same thing as with almost every series: too much drama being thrown in and with that too many side-stories that only distract.
And too much sexual relationships among the team. And also being with one, then hopping to another, then going back to the first one? It's totally unbelievable.
And for political correctness a gay firefighter and a female bisexual one.

Too much of a good thing is simply too much.

Watched The Fugitive and now going to watch Anon (2018).
No idea if the latter will be any good.

Lots of rom coms -but noticed a disturbing plot formula in many different movies.
Guy freaks out about gal potentially being physical with another guy -prevents it -then guy gets physical with other gal while 'in love with' first gal -and the first gal acts as if it's insignificant -just happy guy finally wants to be physical with only her. Anyway -ewwwww for her and cute/quirky for him.
So often it seems it must be a sort of template...

hmmmm

Steven Spielberg's remake of "West Side Story". Dare I say that it was better than the original film?
RIP Stephen Sondheim and thank you for the music.

True, true! Spielberg is a master.
West Story is a classic and the story is more relevant than ever.

Ice 2020
with Sam Neil.
For the biggest part in London. Thank goodness they spared the Tower Bridge! I might have switched it off had they trashed it in the movie.
Tower Bridge is sacred!!
I liked it!

Arctic Blast
Another ice age disaster but this time because of a rift in the ozone layer. And not in the US for a change but near to Tasmania.
I liked it, although it doesn't have general high rating.

"Moonstruck" (1987) Directed by Norman Jewison.

I enjoyed the elements I saw especially Cher's performance and then I fell asleep. However, what is it about Nicholas Cage that irks me? Whenever he was on screen it felt like nails on a chalk board.
I know many people enjoy his style of acting, but it's not for me. :expressionless:
Overall, the film itself is memorable with a compelling script.
