Buy a new mattress??? Noooooooooo cant say that I have.....I washed the sheets though and the blankets.....got rid of anything he bought me.....garbage!!!
But to throw out a "thing" like a mattress seems kinda stupid to me....its an inanimate object......the object is just a thing......why do we eQUATE things to feelings???

Are you saying you throw out a mattress if you've had a 3 month relationship with someone and it didn't work out? Honestly, it makes no sense. Buy some Lysol.

never felt that way, then again, my only expirence where it was my bed in question, we divorced and he got the bed... now what pisses me off is that him and his new wife have MY nice comfortable bed! LOL oh I miss that bed!

I let this older woman housesit at my place and found out that she did a friend of mine in my bed. That pi**ed me off. That is just wrong. I've never had a horrible relationship so my bed is very comfortable, many fond memorys.

Both ex's got the bed, was glad they did too.
1st one broke into the house and took what he wanted. 2nd one it was in my best interest to leave I have a new bed now so no worries.

I went on a redecorating binge. New Living room furniture...floors...painted....redecorated both bedrooms in the house.....got rid of anything that reminded me of him..... I felt compelled to erase any traces of him for my own sanity....

No new mattress but new sheets and comforter, pillows and pillow cases yup, rearrange and redecorate definitely

Why is money more important than sleeping on a clean mattress? Do you know that it is not nice to sleep on the same thing for too long? Bed bugs and all...

I hope you stay in relationships for a long time because mattress sets do not come cheap.
