22C We had some sun but now thick dark clouds are rolling in. Serious showers this afternoon, possible thunder & wind gusts during. It looks quite daunting, hihi

Although my app is saying it’s cloudy, it is quite bright and we have sun although thunder is forecast up until midnight.

Had torrential rain and thunder yesterday afternoon for a short time which just confirmed that I need to get my gutters cleaned as they couldn’t cope. The rain was falling like a waterfall because my gutters were blocked.

Oops, that sounds serious!
My gutters have recently been checked I think. They were on the agenda to get replaced but they were still good. In spite of trees across the street the gutters usually don't get a lot of leaves and stuff in 'em.
What does worry me when there's torrential rain is the amount of water from my & the neighbours' roof that has to run over my extension's roof into the drain.
I told the Bob the Builders during renovation, they said it was normal when there's an extension and that the amount of the 2 roofs isn't that much.
I beg to differ. We don't often have torrential rain for a long time, but a few years ago it did happen, over half an hour, and I also had a waterfall, indoors!

All in all we're not having much summer, do we... Maybe this month will bring is a week of great weather :)

Forecast 20C today, cloudy right now with some sunny intervals, should be a little warmer for mid August here in the north of England, at least it's not raining, too much of that this month already.
