Happy I didn't have to cook in order to have a dinner!

Very happy with the really good looking phone cover I just bought for my new phone. Icy blue with a white tiger with young. love

Grateful I got another card reading to do.

I'm happy that the mint scented corncob sacks I put in the kitchen cupboards and drawers are keeping the mice away. They visited a few weeks ago and I didn't have the heart to kill them, so tried an alternative natural repellent. I'm grateful it works, and they found a different home to visit.

Great it worked and they've gone!
Peppermint works to repel as good as every creepy crawler you do not want. I even managed to get rid of an flying ant infestation.

OT - Grateful my grandmother's crockery is finally here :) I took it home from my mom's on Christmas. It's almost 100 yrs old!

@ Crystal, that's great to hear it works for ants as well. They normally come for an extended visit in the spring. I just read that cedar essential oils work well too as a repellent for little critters. So between the cedar and peppermint, we should be rodent free this winter.

OT... I'm very happy with my new Aromatherapy and Essential Oils Sourcebook I got with the Barnes and Noble gift card I received for Christmas. It has so much cool information and recipes for pretty much all your needs.

I'm happy I heard from a dear friend, I'm grateful she's okay, and I hope she feels better soon.

What a wonderful thread!

While I have a different take on the New Year I do appreciate such a positive intent.

I tend to focus on right now.
I live in the present and allow the past to be the past.
I'm grateful for many things in my life but there is only one thing I am truly grateful for each day.

I am grateful for the fact I did not die.

Everything else is history which helps me build wisdom so I can live in contentment right now.

On the flip side, I don't anticipate anything for the new year either.
I try not to shackle myself to expectations.

This doesn't mean I have no appreciation or gratefulness. I am grateful while things happen but don't pine over it.

My life moves ever forward. Everything in the past, good and bad shape the man I am right now. The wisdom I gain from those experiences help me make good decisions as I walk my life.
Essentially,

I am Grateful for my Wisdom

A combination of instruction, thought discipline, brain chemistry and memory control has lead me to an ability to absorb knowledge. I use that knowledge to find inner contentment.

I am grateful for my intelligence

When I am able to communicate my thoughts and intentions to others it allows me an opportunity to expand my existence. M2 forums allows me an opportunity to 'touch base' with a wide range of souls living lives I can't imagine.
It gives me a view of life which I could not have on my own. I am "richer" because of this.

I am grateful for YOU and You and You and You...all of YOU

Grateful for...

The free webinar I've watched tonight

The inspiration I feel again because of it!

The synchronicity... she mentioning something very specific you couldn't think of really and it being EXACTLY what I've dreamt of last night. I even got a name with it and was thinking, maybe write another child's story about it.

And grateful for feeling on track again for the first time since months, or longer.

I am grateful for all the experiences I've had in the last few years, and throughout my life, both good and bad. They made me who I am today, and I am truly happy with who I am today.

I am grateful for the abundance in my life. I have all that I need and abundance continues to flow easily into my life, fulfilling all my needs and desires for my highest good. For that I am truly grateful.

I am grateful for my roommate, for his friendship and for providing me with a safe environment to live over the last couple years, so I could begin a new life.

I am grateful for Mingle2, through which I have met so many interesting and amazing people and friends.

And I am grateful for the love, joy, and happiness that fills my heart when I remember to be grateful and count my blessings, even for the little things in life like sunshine and rainbows.

Very well written Tom, as another who has been "brought back to life" more than once I try to be grateful every day that I'm on the right side of the grass.
When you were supposed to die yesterday every day is great! bigsmile

Incredibly happy that the reading I did resonated smooched I know they almost always do but one never knows.

Also very grateful that another reading was requested.

It's really amazing how these things happen as soon as I'm doing some energy work offered freely by this spiritual business coach.
The other day while doing a webinar I got a request for one of my courses. It's so amazing how much I can shift when working with this coach!
And yes, I am incredibly grateful for all she offers freely.

I'm grateful I was able to get out of work on time, it sure feels good to relax.
I'm grateful my co-worker and manager decided to wear the "Happy New Year" hats I got for them, the customers loved how festive we all were.
I'm grateful for hot water, essential oils, and bath salts... I'm exhausted and taking a long aromatherapy bath is so refreshing.

And, I'm grateful for my life.

Feeling very much in my heartspace and

I feel wonderful about lighting my Samhain candle with a wish/intention for this year. I was supposed to light it on Yule as that is truly the return of the light, but I forgot. Somehow it felt good to do it now, Jan 1st. Return to the light, the new, closing the door on the old.
