Topic: Bridge of Rope | |
---|---|
I went on a journey to save my soul
For my life of sin had taken it's toll Over mountains and through thick woods I came upon a bridge of rope Stretching over the valley of darkness It would test my faith and hope The wind howled, the thunder roared As the bridge swayed to and fro I could hear the demons Laughing And taunting me from below My sin was heavy My guilt was strong Hope began to fade So on my knees I prayed to thee To give me strength and courage As rain fell down upon me And I thought my end was near I felt the touch of Jesus He told me not to fear |

Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Thank you for making me get my Bible out to look this up. I had to go back a little further to fully understand this passage. Have a blessed day.

Thank you for making me get my Bible out to look this up. I had to go back a little further to fully understand this passage. Have a blessed day. You are welcome. A threefold rope is man, woman and God intertwined. |
