My kids went to their dads yesterday ansd stayed over for christmas comin home at noon.
This is the first christmas since they were born that we have not been together.
It's tough i woke up mant times last night,couldnt sleep.
Forgot they werent here when i woke up this morn

MERRY CHRISTMAS IT COULD BE A REAL BAD SITUATION, BUT YOUR KIDS ARE ALIVE AND HEALTHY.

awwwwwwwwwww..... the important thing isnt that they didnt wake up there, but rather that at the end of the day, they are going to sleep there with you. My heart goes out to you. Merry xmas!!!!

Been there..............it stinks. Remember...this, too, shall pass. It is only a season. Take this opportunity to love yourself. If you take care of yourself, you will be around to give to them when they need.

My cats got into their stockings last night made a nice mess of the cat treats.
We even have a stray here handin out for christmas and yes she got a stocking too.

cats were kinda "spreading" the christmas joy huh.....

Yea...i used to wrap everything and put it under the tree early but the cats keep unwrappin it all

That's why our presents aren't put out till all the kids are asleep Christmas Eve after our midnight service....the kids would be so nosey...i should know, i use to peek while my parents were gone.

too funny!!!1 I have a maincoone cat and he not only got the stocking and goodies inside for him, but I will have to get a new stocking for him next year as he thrashed his current one.

my 2 cats were sooo mad this morning when they saw my go outside and give the stray some goodies...lol
but they got some too i even got them funky christmas hats and collars...boy they dont like em one bit either!!!

Hey everybody. I am at my families this morning, so I'm not alone.

Yet I cant help but think of love lost.

It's a long night when you yearn for the return of your loved one(s). However, the night is history and this is the beginning of another day. One of the most important things in life is hope. Without hope, all is lost.

Loneliness is no fun. If we choose to be alone, it feels like a respite; if we are alone and do not want to be, we ache inside. For the last three years, just before Christmas, a woman I loved, bolted from our relationship in order to socialize with her friends and family unimpeded by a relationship with me. It is not that I did not want to socialize. I think she subscribes to the notion that he who travels fastest, travels alone.

I was alone last night. I am alone this morning. I am grateful that I have my beautiful dogs. I am feeling my hurt and hoping for a better day. The sun is shining through my window. A freshly brewed pot of coffee sits on my kitchen counter, the morning newspaper on my recliner. It could be worse. I have learned in my life that as bad as things can be, they can always be worse.

Isn't it great that we have each other. I watched one of my favorite movies last night, It's a Wonderful Life. I am always moved by the life lessons in that awesome story.

Awh sugarjen, i know what u mean. My kids are grown. I got to see 1 last night the other i won't see at all. It's tough being away from loved ones especially during the holidays. Just remember ur babes are coming home soon. Give em an extra hug. Have a Merry Christmas.

At least they get to be with you this afternoon and everything. That is something to look forward to, enjoy the peace while you can.

I don't really post but just to give you all some hope. I've been disowned by my family just for being "mental." In January of this year I had to move just to get further away from them so I moved in here with my current roommate who is my main support person now. The journey has been tough but it is worth it.

All will pass. I didn't get my kids till 3pm on Christmas day and thier mother picked them up at 7. So for Christmas I had them all of four hours. I just enjoyed them for that. Yes, it is hard. This was my first Christmas alone. But I lived through it.

just think of all the joy you will have when they get home and i wish you and everybody else a merry christmas
