Sooo, I have been studying, but missing my true love ... poetry.
Here is two sentences. Please add more and we can make a Mingle poem. Welcome to any newcomers of words who want to try their hand at creating word messages. I really don't want to read stuff like, "she rolled over and farted". Please save those types of lines for the trash bin of "I have a humor poets do not appreciate." Here goes... Masters always teach what Generals fail to hear. Yet, who plans best for war? Who plans best for peace? Xxx |

Masters teach faint words , Generals speaks loud swords.
Yet ,who shuts down doors? Who brings down lords? |

Masters sees with brain, Generals lead with cane.
Yet , who had innocents slain? Who has kept the sane. |

Nice Ramy .
I am going to join it all up and see if there are more swerves and colors to this tapestry of words. Masters teach what Generals fail to hear. Yet, who plans best for war? Who plans best for peace? Masters teach faint words, Generals speak loud swords. Yet, who shuts down doors? Who brings down lords? Masters sees with brain, Generals lead with cane. Yet, who had innocents slain? Who has kept the sane? |

Masters teach what Generals fail to hear.
Yet, who plans best for war? Who plans best for peace? Masters teach faint words, Generals speak loud swords. Yet, who shuts down doors? Who brings down lords? Masters sees with brain, Generals lead with cane. Yet, who had innocents slain? Who has kept the sane? Masters know where we are to go, all the solemn places, the whereabouts tranquility. Silence heard from far above, the endless chanting, the sober caravans. Heads bobbing...widely eyes...calmness...warmness...fruitful...truthful. Hearts divine...love divine...all in one; soul, human – the humanity. *Hi Not, thank you for having me. I like the free style, although I can compose some rhyming phrases when I am in mood. Always feel the freedom when I use the licencia poetica. Have a good day. |

Hi Mystical, I know poetry is interpreted by the reader and that is all good. I was leaning toward 'Masters' being spiritual and Generals being politically patriotic, yet being masters of war. This is the thing about words, we perceive through our own lenses of experience or learning. Peace would be my ideal utopia, yet we live in dystopia, whether we recognize it or not. ((Hugs gf)) |
