I have met a few guys in person who I met online including my ex-husband. I always met in a public place and never ran into a psycho and a few of them I never even talked to on the phone. Just don't be looking for the right girl in her before you even meet. You will be fine as long as you go into the date with an open mind in a public place.

that would be true if you don't give a rats ass about getting hurt, i'm just telling the guy my story, the thing is, if he feels there is something sketchy about this person, i would beware, its not that believe this chic could hurt him, its the fact that he could get dooped into something like maybe she isn't even over 18, or she is not the person she was describing herself as, its the honesty issue in this case

I'm not saying he shouldn't beware of say false advertising. Just saying to relax and not over analyze every little thing before he even meets. If he does that he might actually miss out on a really nice person. Yeah would be nice to get a picture of her. But highly doubt she will send her drivers license

I got ya.. but being aware and verging on paranoia is two different things.

When I have been in this situation.. I am either ready to meet or I'm not. A desire to ask for verification, proof.. insurance to hedge my bet, is an indicator that I am not ready to meet. Regardless of who she might or might not be. So I don't.

This guy seems to be ready to meet. So..unless he cancels the date.. that ship has sailed.

first of all, she's driving to me, i'm going nowhere, and no ticket of any kind is involved... secondly she's not goign to my place of living, she's getting a hotel room... thirdly she mentioned she has family who lives in warren... which is a 1/2 hour ride from here during rush hour lol...

worst case sceenario the way i see it is i meet this girl, she's NOT what she says she is, and i walk out and drive away, never to see again....

but on the other end of the spectrum, maybe she could end up being something special. ...If i meet this girl, it will be in a public place, that i didn't commute too far to, and if she ends up being ...how did he say it... peaches makeing a man suit... then i'm gone!
