If we read [Rev. 19: 1,2] then the armageddon is about Judgement of the great whore and bringing salvation to the world. This will not be a war between nations but judgement comming directly from God. I have often mentioned that it's imperative to understand the theme of the bible to get the proper understanding.
The great whore has not only corrupted the earth with her fornication but had also spilled the blood of His servants, and must therefore be judged. We all know the saying: "what goes around comes around". Christ did mention racial wars, earth quakes in divers places, and famine and pestilence, but did not link this to the armageddon. The destruction will come as a surprise and an object in the sky, send by God, will destroy the whore within one hour. |

Israel didn't get their land back. Check [Luke 21:24]. They were led away captive and their land was given by America and England in May 14, 1948 to Gentiles who are inhabiting that land. They however, will in the future.

Sorry for the waiting! I already gave a Hint who the "Great Whore" might be!
Remember... this is all prophecy and we must treat it as such! Not all who read will agree or see it exactly the same way. The great whore is actually a nation that is surrounded by many waters. I hinted about the Statue of Liberty, who is the "torchbearer" and because she is surrounded by waters. The bible calls her the "Great Whore" or "Babylon the Great" because she is a leading nation with the sins of ancient Babylon (LGBTQ etc.) but much greater than Babylon, committing fornication and abominations with the lesser nations. God is angry with all these nations because they are buying and selling and even slaves and human traffickers were/are commodities in their trades. The land is also polluted by innocent blood and God requires the cleansing of it, with the blood of those that shed it. [Numbers 35:33] So ye shall not pollute the the land wherein ye are: for blood it defileth the land: and the land can't be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it. Note: In the scriptures Lucifer is not Satan, but the torchbearer (leading) nation or a people and not a person. It does make sense to mention that the Statue of Liberty, does have a torch in her right hand, held very high! People often get the wrong understanding from movie makers, who don't know the history or prophecy but because lies and talking a good game, pay the bills! |

Who is she? This is not literally a woman. In a symbolic sense, the word “harlot” is applied to individuals, organizations, and nations who say they worship Jehovah, but in fact worship other gods. In Revelation, the symbolic harlot is depicted sitting on a crimson beast. She has the name Babylon the Great written on her forehead. And in the Bible "Babylon the Great" is called the world system of false religion. Therefore, the harlot of Rev 19: 2 is a worldwide system of false religion. |

Jesus said He will come like a thief in the night. In other words we cannot predict armegeddon, I certainly do not want to experience it in my lifetime. There have always been wars and rumours of wars, even the Bible says this. Best to live each day to it's fullest. |

The great whore and harlot are just the same entity and not a woman. The bible uses metaphor, similitudes, dark and secret sayings and even parables to give understanding to the elect. When God was talking to Moses, He told him to write down certain things and to keep others secret, for himself. God showed Moses and Edras the end of the world, but they were not allowed to write it down on paper or stone. The word "Harlot is used" because those nations sold "boys for harlots" and gave "girls for wine" so that they might feast and drink and celebrate their victory. We know that Babylon the great is not the old Babylon because the old Babylon is mentioned in the Old Testament and the Great Babylon in the prophecies, and it's judgement has not yet come. Daniel saw four beast and these beasts are four nations/kingdoms, and Babylon was one of these beast. Beast and mountains are kingdoms and nations in the holy bible. Babylon the great is the mother of harlots and the one who have mislead the whole world with a false image and false religions and doctrines. Hence, all religions are false and none is biblical. First came christianity, slavery and then religion, to keep the slaves docile. The Holy scriptures are thousands of years older than christianity and Christ was not teaching Christianity but Moses. We still have many prophecies to come before all is fulfilled, and we can close the bible and wait for new instructions and new things to come. |

Armageddon/Har Megiddo is an actual place on Earth -the site of the ancient city of Megiddo.
The surrounding area is where the greater Earthly military powers will gather to fight each other after moving toward the holy land to settle the mid-east peace crisis by force -claim land for their own, etc. The modern-day country of Israel (house of Judah) will be attacked full-scale by their neighbors -and the rest of the world will be drawn into the conflict as they continue to fight. Zech 12:3 "And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it." There will be a destruction/desolation OF the present city of JERUSALEM -called the "abomination of desolation". Luke 21:10 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 11 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains;.......... So, the nations will build Christ Kingdom in these 1000 years and then the major treat will disappear, forever. |
