Topic: What r u thinking about right now?? - part 74 | |
---|---|
Thinking I did pretty good with the detour on the way home. There was a road block due to an accident and I had to take back roads that I'm not familiar with. Got straight home without having to use the GPS or turn around for making the wrong turn, haha.

Thinking... it must be quite something to see the Golden Gate bridge!

Thinking... it must be quite something to see the Golden Gate bridge! It's beautiful, especially when the sun is shining on it as it goes down. I visited my Aunt there a couple times when I was a kid. |

Maybe one day I'll get to see that too :) I'd like to travel through America to see all kinds of things but then also really have the time for it. And the money, hihi. |

It is expensive here though. Traveling in Europe is so much cheaper. I'm still hoping to go to Scotland and Ireland, but it will have to wait until next year or even later. |

I'm glad that I can think of having Scotland on the menu, hihi. America will have to wait. Just the flight alone, pffff... And I can't do another cheap flight like last time. I won't survive, haha. I do intend to fly to Scotland too, but that ain't that far nor that expensive. Hopefully next year all this to-do is over at some point, otherwise it's wait for the next year. The window for Scotland isn't that large if you want reasonable weather. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! |

To finally set foot on Scottish soil, sigh... |

Thank you!! I'd SO love to!! To finally set foot on Scottish soil, sigh... You're welcome! Yes, that would be wonderful. I have Scottish blood in me, as well as Irish and German, so to go visit there would be cool. Not Germany though, haha, just Ireland and Scotland. |

(But as it is right now we Dutchies aren't even allowed to go into the UK without 14 days quarantine haha)

I think for me it's a past life thing. The calling is incredibly strong. I had that with England too. Ireland doesn't appeal to me so that makes it a little easier :) |

Germany is just eating a lot of sausage, hahahahaha. Bratwurst for breakfast, lunch, dinner, in between and late night evening snack.
Of late I have an interest in seeing Berlin. But not on top of the list. |

That's probably why I'm here in New England too, it feels like I'm home and like I've been here before. I was born in Massachusetts, but I believe I've had past lives here also. |

Possibly, I feel a strong urge to visit England as well. That's probably why I'm here in New England too, it feels like I'm home and like I've been here before. I was born in Massachusetts, but I believe I've had past lives here also. Oh, I love England! I haven't seen nearly enough of it yet. I've been to Wales as my British ex's family lived there, Glastonbury, Isle of Wight, Stonehenge, Portsmouth, London with my son, Yeadon which is near York and Southminster (above London) to visit friends. The history is great if you like that, like when we visited Chester... there's still remnants there of Roman times! And I love the green hills. But that's all pretty much in the south, except for Yeadon. Even though I'd love to see much more of it, I think Somerset will remain my favourite. Not sure if there's a link to New England, but to be honest, I don't think so. America is an entirely different land, like Australia is as well, even though many English settled there. The energies of the land, the weather and so on are all entirely different. I think in America you could tap into and feel very old energies, but not European. Probably Indian and even pre-Indian energies. An awful lot of powerful places in the USA. But an energy entirely of its own, not comparable to any European energies as far as I can feel. And tuning in, I think in a way less 'polluted' so a more raw unrefined energy that still runs through the country, probably mostly untapped, since Europeans came there much later and Indians used to take very good care of the land and its energies. Here in Europe we had a lot of chit happen, Romans, very early Christians, Celts, Huns, the lot. That alone makes it different. We have had people who took good care of the lands and energies etc etc but that's much longer ago than in America. Hmmm... never thought about that. But I think it makes a lot of sense? |

Thinking... I wished my crystal from Pakistan would arrive! I have a track trace but from Pakistan post it's pretty useless. So it's wait and wait and wait and see.

Scotland... and that I want two weeks, hihi. I could go to Skye from Inverness by train... Not sure yet, and no need to be sure yet either. Plenty of time left. But many beautiful things to see on Skye.
Why does it have all have to be so danged far apart? I'd like to see Glenfinnan viaduct as well, but dang... No train, and bus takes forever. I guess I'll have to look more in the Inverness area for interesting places. Such a shame of not having a car. That would make things a helluva lot easier. But no way am I taking my car to drive through Scotland. It's got an 1.1 engine only. Plus, I ain't going by boat, I wanna fly. I think that'll be least risk with my vertigo than going back and forth on waves for hours on end. |

How these chickens hear me... if i am up and open just my back door... these darn chicken hear me ... shut the freak up... its to early
I am thinking ...they think they are guard dogs ... never thought of it that way ... shakes head... maybe a good thing ... How far can a chicken hear? At a level of 60 dB sound pressure level (re 20 ΞN/m(2)), their hearing range extends from 9.1 Hz to 7.2 kHz, with a best sensitivity of 2.6 dB at 2 kHz. Chickens have better sensitivity than humans for frequencies below 64 Hz; indeed, their sensitivity to infrasound exceeds that of the homing pigeon. |
