It appears that modern society has analysed the concept of romantic love to death. There just isn't anymore poetry in love. These days it appears people love for a reason not for love's own sake.

What do you mean? I love someone because I have reasons to love that person. I love music because of how it makes me feel. Yes, we love for reasons. We also love for the sake of love. Take children for example. Parents don't need a reason to love them; they just do.

What poems do not talk about love? Please explain. Your post is very, very baffling

Things got officially creepy in the 70s -now natural attraction is often associated with suspicion of creepiness.

I'm talking about materialistic reasons. The notion of the kind of romantic love where you lose yourselves in each other has been lost in the scientification of love. These days love is rationalised too much and it's being standardised through analysis.

In modern times? A one to three hour full body massage first is practically a romantic relationship. Why are women not that brave for the sake of equality in modern times?
