well...im me, fat and sassy just like it says...i dont hide anything..id rather the person want me for what i am, sure i could tell them i am 5'3" and weight 100#...hmmm wonder if we meet if they would notice??? lmao...i dont get any of that...just be you, even if overweight, i find men are open to the honesty and are more attracted to someone who is confident in themselves regardless...sorry for all your misfortune and wishing you lots of luck in the future!!!

I got one almost as good as the 2 year one Eddie. I was talking to someone in CA for 6 months. I flew out there and met him in a motel because I didn't want to go to his home. Come to find out he was a sexual predator on probation for a sex crime. Boy did I get the fudge out of there fast! Of course he wasn't at all what he said he was while we were talking.

this is such an interesting topic, it does make you wonder if people do post their real or current pictures...although wouldnt it be so embarassing to meet someone and not look like what your picture did? Whew, not good, not good at all

I do not understand why anyone would misrepresent themselves. Do they not realize that eventually you will probably meet someone? Why would you do that? It would only make me wonder what else that person would be hiding.

I always have real, current photo's in my profile anywhere I go. I have been accused of the current main photo of being out dated but the fact is it was taken around September. I like the photo because I think it says something about who I am. If someone wants a better look at me there's always plenty of pics in my profile.

It goes back a ways but I had a similar experience as some of the people here. Fortunately for me I didn't get too emotionally invested before I found out she was dishonest. She said, (I believe this is how some of the people who use fake or outdated photo's think) "I figured if you liked me first then how I look wouldn't matter". The problem with that, was I really didn't have problem with how she looked. But the person I was starting to care about wouldn't lie like that to me. If she had been up front from the start I probably would have dated her.

I've had a few of these terrible encounters. More recently an ex-boyfriend found me online. Someone I dated over 10 years ago. He sent me all his pictures just as I remember him. He saw all my recent pics. Obviously I changed quite a bit since I was 18 but the physical change was little. I matured a great deal since then and unfortunately he acted like a child in public and was the complete opposite of all the photos he told me were a month old. His butt was 3x bigger than mine! LOL Utterly disappointing and I was a little annoyed that he went to the trouble to lie and send me pics that were obviously 10 years old. Why lie? You start anything bad from the getgo that way. Honesty is attractive.
