It's okay, but remove this" as I've had more than my fair share of backstabbers and two-faced people Negativity does not do well and no need to drag your past and past hurts into a dating profile. Delete it and edit the part before that to something like "I don't fancy going out anymore..."

Point taken, I just prefer being honest. And yes, my hair was past the back of my knees in that second photo. Now it's just above my butt.

i dont think your profile is creepy -- Gregg Allman, Axl Rose, Sebastian Bach and when he started, Bon Jovi, all had long hair. That's part of what made them so "good". the separated thing - well most women dont want to date a married man.

Hi Mikael, just viewed your profile and nice to see that you had taken the suggestions from other members above. Under Profession you wrote "Studying". Although you wrote you are taking Advanced courses, what do you do to support yourself and your family? (You are separated which means you are still married, right?) If you are not working, then you can say "in between jobs" or "full-time student" Best wishes edited to add: Your profile is not creepy at all.... but the second dark pic with long hair IMO is a little creepy. Delete it and add new selfies showing your hair now.

To clarify, I put 'separated' - as we were never married. We've just been together since we were 17, and now we aren't.. Divorced wasn't really applicable. If its better (less confusing) to select that option, maybe I should change it..

I did the exact same thing when I first got here. but this is an American site and in America married people often get separated and never divorce. Same in Canada btw. You may want to think about this, make up your own mind: I wouldn't say "never married" as that can give the idea you've never been in a relationship. And when you're 20 that's perfectly normal, but when a wee bit older it comes off as strange, raising eyebrows, "What's wrong with him? Does no one want him?" So I'd go for 'Divorced" on this site. I know you mention having been in a long term, but people don't always read the text, instead first check the other stuff. Anywho, do what feels best to you. Nice to see you changed some things, it reads really good now! Good luck!

Even so, for you to presume I'd lied when you don't know the first thing about me, it's kind or rude and uncalled for, wouldn't you say?
