This is intended to be an open ended discussion about concerns and knowledge about 5G microwave radiation for telecommunication. Not everything is understood about the health effects of microwave radiation. Based on the principle that the dose makes the poison, microwaves from Wifi and wireless devices, which one has free will to decide if are in their house or not, would be harmful long before signals from any nearby antenna tower would. But that does not mean 5G is not dangerous in all situations.

What are the different dangers?

What is the safe dose to avoid the dangers? (short term high dose and chronic long term dose)

What are the suspected reasons for concern about which there is no well-known information?

Why is it ultimately a concern; are there other thoughts?

I think you missed out the part that many people are concerned in that it can be used to track your whereabouts in a 1984 big brother is watching you kind of way. I mean I know they do that already, but this would really put your nuts in a vice
And before anybody trots out the standard police B.S. line of ' if you've done nothing wrong , then you'll have nothing to hide ', then let's see some nice photos of all the sites masons in their robes, and the reason the cauldron club collects your...cough..seed

There's a reason RADAR domes have the words "CAUTION MICROWAVE RADIATION" written on them. You wouldn't stick your head into your micro wave oven would you? Short of wearing a tin-foil suit, there's not much you can do about it these days though.

3G messes up homing directions on animals... 4G messes with migratory animals...

5G?.................. it's gonna eventually kill em slow.

This was proven.... but lobbiests put a stop to that news... gotta have phones before life, right? this does include humans.

Even though humans only know about 10% about what really goes on, on this planet at any given time, NO MATTER WHAT the FACTS are........they will say: everything they don't like is just pure bullschitt.

and it doesn't matter as long as I'm happy and I'm able to keep my happy little world. screw everything and anyone else.

oh... and then there's money..... and greed... everything can die as long as I have MYY schitt.shades right????

it's non-ionising, at an extremely low frequency. they even lowered it some more to keep the conspiracy nuts quiet. obviously that didnt work.

I dont understand why some wrong headed people are worried about this when the real problems are so front and centre, Trump, social media, oh, the virus that I hear has been going around and precious little done to stop it in most countries. That is real. all this 5g nonsense isn't.

Low frequency non ionizing or not, all of this radiation, micro wave or radio wave, coursing through your body has to have some long term or short term effect.

This topic's title presents a false claim.
There is no scientific evidence that 5G is more harmful to human health than 4G.

You must be a very trusting soul, you must love your government explicitly and believe everything they tell you, either thar or .....? Do you work for the government by anychance? I don't suppose you'd say yes if you did though, huh?

Haha R2D2R2D2, I work for a company that provides research to other companies certifying that they comply with federal, state, and local regulations. We provide facts; if we are wrong about our facts we would get in big trouble. This work helps the environmental laws to be carried out, while at the same time letting peoples dreams be enabled. If we find a problem, we provide the research about what we found to the companies to help them effectively respond to the problem.

We do have a section and I report about findings in regard to electromagnetic radiation (EM) on sites, but the applicable laws are minimal for low level EM. Research on the health effects of EM are outside of the scope of our report, that is what the laws are based on.

I did some reading on this out of curiosity, and I found out that the wave length of microwaves is one mm to one meter, and they can cause vibration of nerve axons and affect protein functions. Also, the EM is absorbed and transferred to heat energy in the first millimeters of human tissues, which are mostly water. This blocks the EM waves from entering the brain for the most part, except at the funnel shaped hole in the ears they can find a way in. If you were near microwaves and hear an audible clicking sound, it will go away if you put a piece of tinfoil over your ear. This is known as the Frey effect. Sometimes you can feel warm shimmering static electricity feelings all of your skin as well.

People always laughed about my tin foil hats, but now I feel much safer.

And as for tracking, it's called a mobile phone, but you can leave it at home if you want to, and use it as a home phone. Just like the olden days.

Or let the dog carry it. Don't bother to ask a cat.

The title does not present a false claim, it asks a question. You bring up an excellent point though, there is no reason for alarm about 5G; this is a more specific inquiry about long wave electromagnetic signals in general.

I know some people get in strange moods before the lights start flickering; is that from electromagnetic waves emitted from alternating current in the power grid, during surges, with the frequencies within the range that human nerve signals operate within? The unevaluated folklore states that certain longwave electromagnetic signals can sometimes, somehow, result in people feeling irritated.

If sharks can pick up on electromagnetic signals from the nerves of lesser size fish, then humans would also be able to feel long wave electromagnetic signals.

My suspected reasons are this

1) I do not trust the government or doctors, I find they have lied about many things numerous times, thus it would be an absolute folly to believe a word they say about anything now. Not to mention, they simply cannot give a straight answer to a straight question, which always sets alarm bells ringing

2) I do believe it is proven already that if you live near a phone mast, your chances of getting Ill increase, that is why people do not want to live near them, and in fact it negatively impacts on the price of your house should you wish to sell it, to get away from it

With this 5g everybody would effectively be living next to a phone mast ( at least I believe so, it's possible I'm mistaken ) , thus I find it impossible to conclude any other

Also as regards to monitoring movements and such, yes I know they can already if you have a phone, but generally the older the phone, the trickier it is for them, and i do believe with this 5g they'll be able to do it, if you don't have a phone, though quite how, I don't know

Erm?
We live next to a huge source of radiation.
Its called Sol.
You know it as The Sun.
Its a source of what, a Trillion G?

Ya might think our atmosphere somehow shields us from it and it does (a lil) but we have been to space and radiation from our nearest star is not even as bad as cosmic radiation from the cosmos.

5G, by comparison, is barely a matchful of radiation in a volcano.
5G is more dangerous the closer you get to the tower (feet away not miles).

Microwaves are a type of wave that are sandwiched between radio waves and infrared radiation on the electromagnetic spectrum.

Microwaves heat food. They do not make any changes to food that aren't made in any other cooking method. So they do not make food any more likely to cause cancer. If you follow the instructions for use for a microwave oven there is no known harmful effect on humans.
Microwave radiation can heat body tissue the same way it heats food. Exposure to high levels of microwaves can cause a painful burn. Two areas of the body, the eyes and the testes, are particularly vulnerable to RF heating because there is relatively little blood flow in them to carry away excess heat.

So far, there is no consistent evidence that WiFi routers or WiFi-powered devices increase cancer risk. Despite low-frequency EMFs being classified as possibly carcinogenic, researchers have not observed a direct connection between these devices and cancer.

The frequency of radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation ranges from 30 kilohertz (30 kHz, or 30,000 Hz) to 300 gigahertz (300 GHz, or 300 billion Hz).
“There is extensive research proving cell phone radiation is causing DNA damage and cancer — not just brain, but salivary gland, thyroid, breast, damage to fetuses, damage to sperm, miscarriages, bone cancer and more.”

Cell phones work by sending signals to (and receiving them from) nearby cell towers (base stations) using RF waves. ... RF waves are different from stronger (ionizing) types of radiation such as x-rays, gamma rays, and ultraviolet (UV) light, which can break the chemical bonds in DNA.
Cell phones emit radiofrequency radiation (radio waves), a form of non-ionizing radiation, from their antennas. Parts of the body nearest to the antenna can absorb this energy.
When your WiFi router transmits data, it emits EMFs that the body can absorb. The greater the distance you put between yourself and your router, the less radiation your body encounters. ... So far, there is no consistent evidence that WiFi routers or WiFi-powered devices increase cancer risk.

Scientists have reported adverse health effects of using mobile phones including changes in brain activity, reaction times, and sleep patterns.
The energy of RF waves given off by cell phone towers is not enough to break chemical bonds in DNA molecules, which is how these stronger forms of radiation may lead to cancer. A second issue has to do with wavelength. RF waves have long wavelengths, which can only be concentrated to about an inch or two in size.

Okay. So 5G is not bad.

I still would not put a WiFi antenna under my bed at night.

What it is, is that people get afraid of what society or the authorities will think of their conversation with a friend if it is being overheard or tapped. As a precaution, they assume the worst out of the authorities and fall in line accordingly. They see each other discerning with respect to the judgements of an imagined tyrannical society, instead of appreciating with respect to their own opinions and intentions.

The tried and true way to stop phone tracking, is to turn it off and fold it in tinfoil with the edges rolled up for a good seal.

April 13, 10:59 a.m.

Apple and Google have announced that they are teaming up to develop a tool that will alert people over Bluetooth technology if they have come into contact with someone who has contracted COVID-19. The partnership between the two tech giants would allow iOS and Android devices to communicate to each other about the spread with the new tool that the two companies are calling Contact Tracing. The tool will communicate by using apps from public-health authorities. Apple and Google both stressed that the tool is being developed with privacy in mind and that all of it would be opt-in only. Apple also mentioned location tracking would not be required and that user consent would be prompted before the tool would work.

The fact "Location Tracking" exists indicates other stuff might exist as well.
"Contact Tracing" has purpose beyond pandemics.
They say user consent is required for it to work but does your phone already do things without your consent? What prevents them from running this invasive technology in the background?
Tracking not only where you are but who you are in contact with?
Combine this info with GPS history over a given time and someone could know all about your movement and who you are near.
Understand when referring to technology, its already available by the time it is publicly announced.

Perhaps as it would seem, if you cannot keep a secret, you cannot get anywhere
Besides all that, it's just out of order, nobody likes an eavesdropper
