Topic: How Do You feel right now? - part 17 | |
---|---|
Concerned for my co-worker/supervisor, he left work early due to not feeling well. He's been working the last 12 days straight to cover for my boss, so he could just be exhausted. Hopefully that's all it is. That is a long time to work. I hope he is ok. I hope so too. |

Bored. I need a ghost hunt to go to. Don't think they will have the virus so I would be safe.

Perplexed concerning a few things Iām not comprehending with Lesson 36.

Being isolated as I am I have plenty of time for reflection; it's been 46 years and 2 months ago that I was T-boned in my '67 GTO by a guy in a '69 Road Runner. I was in bed in the hospital for 5 months; 3 1/2 months in traction and 1 1/2 in a body cast. I was young, strong and healthy as can be and couldn't imagine the effects that it would have on the rest of my life.
Anyone else live through a serious trauma? |

i feel surprised that john keeps his lawnmower in the house You don't understand....I was in my house shouting orders to the idiot I had fixing my mower in the garage. He looked a lot like you. ![]() |

He was did pretty good after I told him it wasn't an electric lawn mower.
It was funny watching him look for a the electric cord so he could plug it in though. ![]() |

I am feeling very lucky to have never experienced a trauma like this. I would imagine that memory is very difficult, glad you here. ![]() |

Actually I can't remember anything for about the first month after, it's interesting the way our minds work and protect us. I'm sure that I saw the car coming that hit me but after 46 years I don't/can't recall it. Shock is strange. I suppose that I've had PTSD all this time. ![]() |

Exhausted, my supervisor walked out this morning or rather sneaked out since he said nothing, just left the keys and quit. I ended up taking over and staying later to make sure everything that needed to be done got done. Thankfully, my manager will be returning on Monday.
