Give him what he deserves from you ; nothing. Be glad that you don't have to be bothered by his foolishness on a daily basis. Jump up and down with glee when you delete his remarks, knowing that it must be an extremely difficult and disturbing life to live being so alienated from himself that he can do no better good than to externalize his own hate and discontent. That he hurt you is sad. That you don't have him in your life is a good thing. It's not worth a second thought. Like the idiot on the freeway that cuts in front of you and only succeeds in removing the safe distance between cars, he has only made you aware of his selfishness and how stupid he is for putting himself in a gap that was, is, and will never be for him to fill.
