It bothers me that we think of not having a SO as being “alone”.
Personally, I’m rarely alone, and when no one is around, I greatly
enjoy that time too. I have several hobbies that I enjoy immensely,
I like picking what I feel like eating, shopping on a whim, staying
in my pj’s all day if I wanna, and not having to fight for covers.
I’l entirely comfortable, it’s hard to give that space up, for me, anyway.

I like ALL aspects of it.

I can travel for months or years at a time.
(my first love, travel. I resent others when I can't)

I'm EXTREMELY dangerous when i'm sleeping. I can't stress this enough. A nasty lethal self defense mechanism that started when sleeping in the sands of the Sahara many years ago. It's one of the only reasons that I'm still here. Never ever poke it-(me/it) with a stick. It's best to stay away from it/me. I'm asleep when I strike... It would tear me apart and break my heart if something happened to an innocent. I wouldn't know until I awoke.

I can fish all I want for days. I can enjoy nature for days on end.
