A happy place can be a place you go to in your head, music, an actual real place,(like by the ocean) or wherever/whatever/whomever. My happy place is in nature and with animals... Tell me about your 'Happy Place' if you want too. Maybe you have several? |

You know I read an article today about a father in Syria who has taught his baby daughter to laugh when bombing happens. He has turned the potential childhood trauma, into her 'Happy Place'...A game. It touched my heart. As parents, we do that for our most vulnerable, innocent love. I showed no fear or anxiety when my daughter had her first vaccination or her first surgery. The doctor's commented that she knew no fear. Fear is learned. |

I’m happiest when outdoors as I’m a country girl at heart Same, I like nature and the sound of water, without people tbh Oh me too. I now live not too far from the sea and often spend time at the beach. Can’t wait for better weather so I can get my ‘fix’

Yes, beaver hunting is my place, especially when I catch a nice fluffy one..

Two places come to mind...
The crystal shop I regularly go to. And a semi-salt, semi-fresh body of water on the other side of the island. I like to walk there, sit for a bit, do some healing work on myself etc. I totally recharge there. Unfortunately I need a car to get to either place so it'll be a few months... |

Everywhere.
I exist with inner contentment. I'm content no matter where I am. This is because I carry my "happy place" with me wherever I go. People have commented that I should be stressed out about this or that but I'm not. I really don't let things bother me like I used to. |

It touched my heart. I've just seen the video, it's heartbreaking and inspiring at the same time. Many children though have forgotten how to laugh or even to smile because of the war. |
