What don't you believe?
What do you believe? About the virus.... It started from a live animal selling market in Wuhan, China and has spread. |

If there is a major outbreak (and that's by no means likely) Star Anise is an excellent anti-viral treatment.

If there is a major outbreak (and that's by no means likely) Star Anise is an excellent anti-viral treatment. I'm not sure if that'd work? If it did work against serious viruses we wouldn't have had millions die in the past due to flue pandemics. Although most of these were during Christian times when people had been cut off from their pagan knowledge. Hmm... |

Now I'm wondering if during the past pandemics people like the Aboriginals and Africans were also massively affected... (these people do still have and use ancient healing knowledge).

Star Anise will be less effective but if it's all that you've got available, better than nothing. |

If there is a major outbreak (and that's by no means likely) Star Anise is an excellent anti-viral treatment. Really Seamus where’s the source I have some at home put it in food? You can if you take it regularly or you can crush it up and take a spoonful everyday. It's actually a traditional Chinese remedy, along with another four spices, used to maintain health. When there was the possibility of a swine flu outbreak a few years ago, I steeped it in vodka diluted 50/50 with water and took a small amount every night. Of course, medical advice is better coming from a Doctor or Pharmacist but as I said, if it is all you've got then it's better than nothing. |

But can you use the stuff you buy in the supermarket? Often you have to get it from a healthfood store in order to get the good variety. Same with e.g. cacao which also has healing properties, but then you need the cacao from a specific place, and what the supermarket sells is not that. Where did you buy it? I'm just thinking, I believe there's also star aniseed essential oil ... Not 100% sure. |

Apparently Australia succeeded in getting the virus to grow, which is one step towards generating a vaccine. |

I'm just thinking, I believe there's also star aniseed essential oil ... Not 100% sure. If you can get something more concentrated, say from a healthfood store, so much the better but if you can't then the supermarket stuff will have to do. |

Apparently Australia succeeded in getting the virus to grow, which is one step towards generating a vaccine. Obviously a vaccine would be ideal as currently there are no treatments for coronaviruses but without a vaccine, Star Anise is known to have strong anti-viral effect and is something you can do to protect or treat yourself with if there's nothing else available. |

Perhaps a Traditional Chinese herbalist can be of more help. |
