Today's work:
Changed the colour on the left hand side to a cooler one, it was too warm. Some minor tweaks on the right hand side of Mt Shasta. Then darkened the trees at the base of the mountain. These will be partly covered by mist later on. In order to finish the mist it'll have to be completely dry first. 
Just to compare... this is the same canvas, the way I'd painted it in 2015.

My oldest Grand daughter free hands from pictures or just looking at stuff.. It amazes me when I see those that can paint like this... Finally talked her in to taking a apprenticeship at a Tattoo Shop since she loves to draw so much & paint.. You defiantly have a talent.... |

Well, I'm pretty much done with it.
Took me a few session to get both the mist back in, properly this time, and do the foreground trees. These were deep dark purple without definition, now they're dark green and you can see definition of trees in there. This is more accurate as I could see the trees when I zoomed into the reference photo. I'm calling it a finished painting, and I'm happy with it now! As it is I'm okay to put it up for sale. The way it was, not so much, hihi.
