Topic: Google image search | |

So, we all know that image searches are very useful on sites like this. Out of curiosity, I did a search on my own profile image and I have to say that the results were mixed. The first four images were Tony Shaloub from men in black, Robert Diniro, an avatar from a video game and one of the Nazis from Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark just before his face melted off.🤣

I do think Google Image search changed their perimeters with what they search and come up with. It's way less specific and usable.
It now says "No other sizes of the image found". In the past you really got photos of that person if the search engine could recognize them, or very similar photos. It was far more specific and a nice way to find or trace someone. |

I'd have to agree, it's not always as helpful or accurate as it could be. But the results can be quite funny. |

I've never searched my photo. I'm afraid it's going to show up on a not-wanted poster.

I find image search VERY useful for catching scammers....
If I find their pictures on multiple sites, all with different names...well.... P.S..there's a site called TinEye which is good with image searches...just an FYI... |

Hi Seamus, I image your pic and it say "human" Mine says "girl" what da heck! I was hoping for "model" Quite frankly mzrosie, I'm delighted that I scraped into the "human" category, given the other matches it made . As for yourself, I'm not surprised it said "girl", you have a timeless loveliness.. It is quite fun though, isn't it? |

Maybe take another pic with a smile... just a little smile and yes, it is fun. |
