So you have been chatting for a month and feel comfortable enough to meet. How would you dress if your first date was going out to dinner/a restaurant?

There are no restaurants locally,
that call for anything more than casual attire. |

Just be your self and all would be fine . Cause if you try to wear something to impress him or her , your u will fine it difficult the next time your meeting again

Best first date I ever had we went downtown
and decided on a nice place to eat, we were both dressed casual. We sat outside, got menus and decided we didn’t want anything on the menu so we went back to my place and I made the best damn peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and we fell madly in love. True story. |

We have most of the obligatory fried chicken places... Chic Fil-A, Church's, Kentucky Fried Chihuahua. And, all of the crappy burger joints. Be it restaurant, or just grocery shopping, if I want real food, I have to drive to the Dallas/Fort Worth area... (at least 60ish miles /100ish kilometres) Oh! LoL... As to how I dress for most first dates, blue jeans, tee-shirt, boots. |

I own one suit and white shirt reserved for funerals but four wardrobes and clothes rails with 100+ pairs of shoes all casual or practical stuff which is ok because I would not visit anywhere with a strict dress code

If you have heard of four weddings and a funeral...? Are you serious about 100 pair of shoes? |

Depends on the time of year. My wardrobe is limited, and I have very few dressy items. I'd dressed comfortably according to the weather and where we're going.

Hello

I don't do dinner on a first meeting. If it doesn't work out in RL you're stuck throughout a meal.
What I wear depends on the weather and where we meet. But typically something casual. I make sure it's nice, but I want to be comfortable and above all: warm! |
