I'm not sure if this is the right sub forum to go to. Basically after watching the Nun, The conjuring, and Annabel, I got fascinated about the demons. I am by no means to do any summoning but I've been reading on the basic of magick and try to understand it.
Anyone here have any experience on this type of things? |

"You've been messing with the Goetia"
'No' "Then the Goetia has been messing with you". Don't do it, the Goetia is a notoriously dangerous book. Even having a copy in the home can cause unpleasant side-effects. |

Do not be fascinated with the demonic. These are evil creatures that can and will actually torment and eventually can kill you. If you want to know more about them and what to do with them (how to cast them out) read the Bible, especially the New Testament. There you will find out what they are and do and why and how to appropriately get rid of them. |

Hahaha, you think those movies are real. I suppose The Exorcist is a documentary? |

Demon movies are fantasies which expound on religious fears.
Unrealistically powerful demons and ineptitude of God if based on religion. If God is the creator of everything and the exorcist priest is acting as the will and hand of God, the mere presence of the priest would cause the demon to flee. The fact there is a battle at all is a farce. |

Unfortunately in reality it is not always quite that simple. First of all demons are not afraid of people themselves as a person but only of Jesus/God. So for one it would matter how much that priest has an actual relationship with God - (is he really a true believing Christian - this also is unfortunately not always the case) but even if he is then there is still the demonized person and their own will and the demon that might have a right to be there because it has been given over to him. That person might have to renounce some sin first that gave that demon the right to be there and also they should be a Christian themselves or at least at that point should give their live to God (become a Christian) otherwise it would be hard to keep the demon out for long if he at all leaves. This whole thing is a faith issue. If one doesn't believe in God this whole ordeal doesn't make a lot of sense to begin with. But to the skeptics I would say, that there is more to this world than that what meets the eye. Many things exist that you can't at first see - unless you look closer... |

I've been alive for nearly 59 years and I've been deluded most of them.
Even with my delusions I've never witnessed anything close to what happens in demon movies. I also watch a lot of movies. I embrace reality. I don't try to hide from it with delusions anymore. My comfort now comes from reality instead of delusion. Religion teaches fear. I do not fear the world in which I exist. Not anymore. there is more to this world than that what meets the eye.
No, not really. Delusion is not reality, it is a lie. If you wrap up your view of the world with lies and fears, your demons exist. If you can comprehend the cause and effect of reality, there is no reason to fear because belief in a lie is not required. Back to movies, the priests who battle demons always endure a battle. The demons are always super-powerful. When the priest finally excises the demon, it is because of some special power granted by their God at the end. Why does it take so long, why is there always screaming and yelling in a whirlwind of turmoil, why the flopping around and mysterious mutilations? Because it scares people. It makes money for the production. If you read the OP you can see the reference to movies. The correlation of movies to interest in those demons. Those demons are fictitious, a fabrication. It implies those demons exist as depicted. A chain of belief based on a lie, just like religion. Based on the movies you can see The Warren's Occult Museum http://www.atlasobscura.com/places/the-warrens-occult-museum-monroe-connecticut A real world delusion reinforcement. You cannot tour in person. There are special events and you can purchase or rent a video tour of the collection. |

Nope. You are all wrong. First. Most 'daemons' were once Gods among some groups until Christians conquered them and made them demons. "Thou shalt not do somethingorother false gods"
Secondly, as with anything you should use caution when summoning demons OR angels. (Yes you can summon both.) My family is not only deeply religious for like 3 generations back, but we also carry power and abilities from great great uncle TwoBird, a tribal shaman, the church doesn't accept. I've spent years trying to find out if my abilities were Magic or just woo-woo ********. My conclusion was... sorta. Lemme break it down. 1st. The Tree of Life in most churches is incomplete. Trees need roots to flourish lit. and fig. Google sephiroth and qlipoth. You must have balance for anything to work. Currently I have only conjured Demons, but being a Grey Chaos Mage, I have to use Angels for some of the workings I need. (Oh and to properly summon a demon, you have to call 5 angels, then ask 3 other shem angels that guard each demon for permission and recite various Psalms to even get to the guy you're trying to reach.) Nothing bad happens unless you arent specific about what you want. As in life... The scientific version: magic is nothing more than energy. Energy is absolutely everywhere, from the synapses firing in your brai, to the ozone around the earth. Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, only transferred. So. If you think/pray/summon hard enough about something, you increase the amount of neuron synapses (literally sparks) in your brain creating energy that you have focused towards a goal. Its that simple. Wash that down with the psychological act of "positive thinking and actions', which you have done by praying for specifics or even lighting candles, and you pretty much make yourself work towards the goal. Science, magic, angels ,demons all stuff for our feeble human minds to grasp a concept. Meh. Still doesn't explain my Empathic abilities. But it was a good diversion for a while... |
