In preparation for 2020 music library scrobbling I am zipping up all my music folders then going into WMP and deleting all songs rated 3 stars or less. I still have all the music zipped to archive on a separate hard drive but it frees up my "C" drive (and my WMP). So far I have deleted around 47 gigs. I'm also deleting all my single file concerts and albums. All my most recent aquisitions, if not rated yet, remain for 2020 as well.
