My eyes are quite painful from the glaucoma today. 
Ouch... can you have treatment? Did/do you have high eye pressure that caused it? Hope you'll feel a bit better real soon! 
 Yes, it's the high pressure type and I do take the eyedrops that lower the pressure but sometimes it's painful anyway. I developed it nearly twenty years ago, so I'm doing quite well with the treatment, I just don't have any peripheral vision left but at least I can still see whatever I'm looking directly at.
Wow, then you got that rather young, usually happens after hitting 40 unless it runs it the family (if memory serves from my days working as an apprentice for the eye specialist). I can understand you're happy to still have vision, but no peripheral vision must be difficult.

Yes, I think it's hereditary and at least two of my brothers have it as well and I was told that it would be rare if I were to develop it now, so that's an achievement of some kind I suppose. It does make everyday life just that little bit more difficult than it needs to be but you learn to manage and cope with it.

I made the mistake of not wearing dark glasses the other day and that usually affects them. My fault, I was only taking my cat for a walk around the terrace but I should have worn them anyway.

Great! The skies cleared into a bright blue and sun, so time for a nice walk! Listening to the happy chirping birds, saw a robin who was whistling. It felt so good to be out again after having been stuck indoors in the dust of renovation and days of crap weather, hihi. My cheeks still feel pleasantly cold and rosy :)

annoyed... I couldn't find any flannel sheets that I liked, least not in the size I need. Same with the comforters, all the pretty ones were too big.
