Wellington paranormal is great fun, I hope it carries on.happy
Hyperdrive: science fiction comedy. It only lasted for two series but it has a great ensemble cast (Nick Frost, Miranda Hart, Kevin Eldon, Dan Antopolski, Steven Evans, Petra Massey and Paterson Joseph)and it is both very funny and at times, quite poignant.Although Nick Frost and Miranda Hart are the leads, Kevin Eldon as Mr.York is a particular delight.

I never heard of any of these shows. The Kettering Incident sounds like something I'd like.

I've heard good things about both of these films but haven't got around to watching them yet. I do have the first two 'Underworld' films as well as 'Daybreakers' and a couple of Hammer films with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee. These and another Hammer film 'Captain Kronos vampire hunter' completes the vampire content of my DVD's.happy

yes, I've seen that myself. The ending was a bit of a downer I'd have to say. At least it didn't take the easy happy ending route.

I started watching The Brokenwood Mysteries the other day (NZ police series) but somehow couldn't really get into it.

Australian:
Rescue: Special Ops (2009 tv series)
Water Rats

Canadian:
Flashpoint - one of the best in its genre, if not the best

UK:
- Luther -police series with Idris Elba. Excellent!
- Vera -same thing, excellent police series, waiting for season 10

COMBI UK / US:
Strike Back - the best in this genre ever, but mostly season 2 through 5. If you like Richard Armitage (I don't) season 1 is good as well. From season 6 onwards is crap.
