That's called "Penopause" also known as "andropause".
If age matters to a woman depends on her own age and preference. I don't like a man to be much older, but some have different taste. PS a man asking that is usually after a very young woman, and usually fishing outside of his league with that. I guess that's part of "Penopause". Good luck!

Does it put them off? Ok some are but I get a lot contacting me,of course it may be a finance thing, As I have aged so have my tastes in ladies, mature and sensible is my choice, I see you are a mere 49, how young would you like a girl friend?

At 49 you are not old yet so a dirty old man wannabe.. perhaps? If so, remove the photo with a little girl. Not proper on dating site specially for dirty old man wannabe. You have a number of photos so that is good as it is one way of showing you are the person in the pictures. Very brief in the About Me section. But with that profile name, your profile would be ignored by most women, unless of course they are also looking for sex. Your profile says you are widowed.. sorry for your loss. Other than the above, if you are looking for sex, you might change what your looking for from "dating" to "intimate encounter" .. or change/edit your name. Good luck  |

Well, unfortunately the sixty nine stands for my year of birth. And what I'm looking for is a lady open-minded and real. I could care less about the age, it's the personal interaction, that fire, that I'm looking for. Most women seem to adhere to the old adage that older means less exciting. Au contraire, mon cher. Quite the opposite, we have more experience offer.

Unfortunately, "69", has been so overplayed on the internet, that you could have a '69 'Cuda, and the "69" would still be seen as innuendo. Kids these days...  Ya gotta type out the whole "1969", or they just won't buy it. As to the profile... You have 3 interests listed. A good start, but, you could ad more. Your "about me" section has a whole paragraph in it. It would definitely help your case to write more about yourself. I mean, you do list yourself as writer. You shouldn't be timid about writing.
