Topic: Ladies, do you do all this?

Now I'm really curious if any woman on here does this.
Watching 'how to' vids on make-up, I get tired just watching it. And the amount of chit you need...
Hydrators, make-up setters, concealer, foundation, powder... Then there's make-up blenders, a gazillion brushes for each product, meaning you have a lot of work cleaning all that stuff every day, which must be tedious to stop bacteria growth in them.

My head is spinning, I cannot even remember the following order, the products used where and when, hihi.
Plus, it costs a ton of money.

Now if you have bad skin, red veins, acne scars and whatever, I can understand a woman doing it.
Hell, it can look very beautiful & natural provided the right products are used. You don't have to look like a mummy at all. In a way I envy these women for their patience and artwork, haha.

The only thing I've ever had is dark rings underneath my eyes. Even as a kid I had this. Got laughed at by teenagers for putting eye-shadow underneath my eyes.
Apart from that no one ever commented on it, no one notices it.

I do not use any of the products mentioned. I just can't be bothered, hihi. Too much time of the day wasted on it.
I'm an Artemis type of woman, natural.

but who on here does use it, and is a make-up lover?
Again, that doesn't mean you have to look like you wear an overdose. I'm certain many do, I know most younger women use all these things.

Just use what Nancy Raygun used; a combo of spackling paste and floor wax.
Hey, if it was good enough for the first lady........

Sorry im not a makeup lover. I see these women today with a clown face and i dont think its necessary to look beautiful. Since im getting older and those lines and age spots are popping up i use a concealer daily under and on my eyes. Also does wonders on scars and weak points like lips that lipstick tend to bleed. Hope this helps

I'm pretty basic, what you see is what you get... dark circles and all, haha.

When I'm in the cooler climates and don't have a tan I will use a tad bit of foundation, blush, and mascara... but not consistently, mostly when I'm working. Down here in Florida I have a tan and work outside, it would be silly to wear make-up only to have it sweat off an hour later.

I do use fractionated coconut oil... it's a wonderful hydrator and works well as a natural sun screen. It has a lot of other benefits without the harmful effects that other beauty products have. Since I began using it consistently on a daily basis, I've noticed an overall improvement in how my skin looks and feels.

Okay, so at least concealer.
I have used it a few times as well on the dark rings when I had to do recordings, but I'm crap at it and decided to just record my vids as I am. I'd probably need a more expensive concealer.

It isn't about looking like a clown that I was asking :) Just the other things I mentioned, like concealer, and those don't make you look a clown or plastered face when used properly.

Would that be the normal coconut oil you can buy to fry with, but also use for skin care, hair care, lube even, etc.??

I always use that to fry food, the odorless version without coconut flavour.
Is that what is considered fractionated coconut oil? Or are you talking a specific skin product?

The clown part is just my opinion and wouldn't reflect on anyone elses. No disrespect to others who like all that. I use the 100% organic coconut oil in the jar and is in the grocery isle

You know, I've never even had foundation, never bought it. I have to admit I don't even know what it's purpose it? What do you use it for??
I get the purpose of concealer, even 'back light' cream -although I'd never heard of it until I watched those clips.
But why do you use foundation? I seriously don't know, haha.

No, the coconut oil for cooking is generally not fractionated and will clog your pores. The fractionated is mostly used as a skin and hair product. My niece told me about it when I told her I was using the stuff I used for cooking.

It's not expensive either. I got it from Amazon for around $12 I think. It's a pint size bottle and lasts quite a while.

Sparkling crystal you dont need foundation. Your skin is amazing. Foundation is for someone who wants there skin to look even and there acne to suddenly dissapear. Lol. But for my skin it just blocks my pores and makes me look doll like and not very womanly.

I don't like that 'clown' look either, nor the face that's got so much stuff on it that it looks totally unnatural.
But the 'clown' thing, by which I mean heavy eye make-up and lipstick, making lips bigger with lipliner (too big for my taste)... you hardly ever see anyone with that.
Some girls on YouTube who wear that daily. Horrible, I cannot even watch their vids, I find it so off-putting! Yet, they get compliments on their make-up :/

I got the same thing with nails. Women with very long fingernails. Eeewww... horrible! Hihi. Making love to such a woman must be downright scary! They can scratch the skin of every bodypart, lol. Gives me the creeps to think about it.
And these days white nail polish seems to be a hype. On such long nails it looks like they've died :/

And for the explanation :) That makes sense.

Oh yes, that is very very healthy as well! I have a bottle, although not sure it's 100% since I heard most isn't as it's so incredibly expensive. I bought it in Morocco. I've seen how women make it, cracking each single nut shell. It's a very tedious job, no wonder it's so expensive!

I haven't used mine a lot as I don't like the scent. Maybe I should now that I'm getting a little older. I doubt that stuff goes off?

It does have a shelf life but if you can get over the smell it's worth it happy

Nice Delightful, I hadn't thought of that. I'll have to check that out.

@ Crystal... yes the foundation as Sheri said, gives the skin a more even look. Similar to the concealers for under the eyes. Only problem with them is most have harmful effects because of the additives. And it's only covering up the problem areas, not nourishing them so the problem goes away. That is what the commercial industry is hoping for as well... keeps you buying expensive products on a consistent basis.

I threw away my make-up before coming down here. I want to move towards only using organic and natural stuff on my face and body.

And yes, it's nice to talk about this with other women :)
