Topic: Minglers friends I need your positive thoughts! | |
---|---|
Ten days ago I went to visit a neighbor and I was playing with her dog, hi was scratching my arms so I took my two rings off one was my engagement that my ex let me have it. So I put them inside my watch and put them down on her coffee table, I forgot all about them when I left and came to my apartment. The next day I went and asked her if she saw them then she acted very weird, so I asked her again if I can look for them but she rush me to get out...What would you do in this case if this happen to you? TIA

Sounds like your "friend" isn't much of a friend and has used your rings to pay her rent.

I would just confront her and say you know you left them there and you want them >.<
She's no friend if she want's to trade in your "friendship" for your jewelry. Move on this before it's too late if it already isn't! |

I would have to confront her as well... Just say that you took them off there and maybe they fell under the couch, in the couch or maybe the dog took off with them... But that you would like to come in and have her help you look for them...
If she is any kind of a friend she would not have a issue with you looking... If you find them then I would re-consider that friendship.. due to her actions when you went back~~ Hope you find them~~ |

Ask again. Tell her you know you left them there. File a police report if you can. Dump the friend.

I went to the police, file a report then went to Kay where my ex bought them so I can't get them replace because I don't have renters insurance. |

Sorry... Thank you! |

I doubt there is anything you can do legally so I'm not sure if you have any options other than possibly filing with your homeowners insurance.

I don't know the value of the rings but I'm sure there was sentimental value.

I would have written to "Dear Abby" instead of posting here!

(++++++++++) (++++++++++) This is my standard positive thought gift package. If you run out, I do have more.... PS: For a nominal fee |

sucks that it cost you so much to find out her real self : (

Why are you wearing an engagement ring from your ex, and how do you put two rings inside a watch? Just trying to understand.

I don't know the value of the rings but I'm sure there was sentimental value. Yes to me at this point is more the sentimental value. But the 3 items are over $4,000.00 |
