this thread is about questions that the religious will just close their minds to and refuse to answer or just afraid to answer because it will question their suppose faith or question that they just can't answer rationally ..here's the first one
according to believers logic, God had to have created the universe because the universe couldn't have popped out of nothingness and create itself .....so therefore do the same logic apply to the creator if the answer is no then could you explain why with a rational explanation |

if the answer is no then could you explain why with a rational explanation Rational? I don't think so, but here's the answer. Our universe requires a cause. God is not part of our universe. God has always existed and does not change. God's existance is different from our own. Since we have never experianced anything that didn't require a cause, our minds cannot comprehend a "first cause". We cannot comprehend how an eternal and unchanging being can exist, therefore any answer to your question will be irrational. |

oh funches it is too early for this....the universe was created by a supreme being..(god) or who ever...yes it was all done in an instant..scientest are now discovering the earth issnt as old as we belivved it to be...so there u go it was all created in the blink of an eye...by someone or something..when they get tired of the mess we have created then they will do away with us too....

i should really learn not to get involved in the religion or political forums. it's all just ends up in one big massive fight becuase everybody thinks their right and everybody else is wrong. i've got better things to do with my time. like pee i need pee bye.

So since you argue, it must mean YOU have ANSWERS. So come on, lets hear you oh WISE ONE tell us where did EVERYTHING come from?? How was EVERYTHING created??? See, you avoiding MY question to YOU! I have a few brain cells, but you obviously DON'T. So go take more of your "Roids" and lift a few more weights...cause thats about all you'll be able to really accomplish in this world. When you have LEGITIMATE questions to ask (meaning those you are open to actually LISTEN and CONSIDER an answer to...instead of just wanting to "argue" because you have no life and you are inbetween sets of roid exercise)...THEN ask reasonable questions. As I have made it a practice..."I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person". Hence...you are through!

"Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you will be like him yourself. Answer a fool according to his folly, or he will be wise in his own eyes." "If we are to understand how to answer the fool, if we are to be able to demonstrate that God has made the pseudo-wisdom of the world foolish, then we must first study the biblical conception of the fool and his foolishness. It is called faith. Reasoning that you/we know very little about anything. How,why,when does the wind blow. Where does it comes from. Why dna makes us what you will be what ever animal it is.It's faith when you see the sun rise and you are glad another day has come. When you go to the tallest peak of the Rockie Mountains and are awed by it's beauty wondering how did this come to be. Faith is when the mind believes the impossible without doubting and you or a friend is cured of diseaces you were given a death warrant for. Faith the one thing that holds us all together....blessings...Miles

The problem here is one of assumption. Funches assumes there are only two possibilities, like the Pharisees who tried to trap Christ giving him the only two alternatives they could think of. But, he errs not knowing the scriptures. In this case, the answer is neither of these two options he attempts to give us. The universe did not pop out of nothingness. It was created from something that already existed. God is spirit and He lives in a world that is spirit. In a similar way that we can change matter to energy, God changed energy, or spirit to matter in an explosion so magnificent that it sent galaxies spinning into empty space at millions of miles per hour.
