now now sajohn walleye is from the perch family and pickerel is from the pike family lars pickerel is the common name for 3 types of pike found just here in the northeast americas Yeah I know that but in Ontario, a predominantly English speaking area. they call walleye pickerel. I was born in Ontario and my relatives that still live there call them pickerel even though the Ontario Fishing Regulations call them walleye. ok so you got it wrong on purpose No I clarified what I was making for OTHER people who continue to get it wrong.
