To each his/her own. I don't think it's anyone's business who someone chooses to date.
For me personally... it would feel awkward and a little weird, he'd be around the same age as my sons. |

It is just common sense. Love is a strange thing, you know

Could be fun, tell your friend to go for it if you, I mean she wants Even though it would be awkward, it would definitely be a boost to my ego... and since guys my age don't seem to be interested, why not? |

As long as everything is within legal limits, why not This. Certainly a huge age gap is not comfortable for most, but if it makes you both happy then people should mind their own damn business. |

Ok yeah, its about me..(like they didnt know that Kitten)
Well I dont feel awkward around him, hes adorable, and very polite, classy, an 6'3". Im 5'2", and he makes me feel pretty. His youth just makes him a bit more fun, and since im a very young 56, we get along well. |

Guys I dated are generally younger... although the youngest was only 12 years younger. I think so long as both of you are happy that's all that matters. |

Humm okay I'll go at this from a mothers side of view...
My son is 37 and if it happened that he meet someone older then me or around my same age.... It would be a bit awkward to me... But....then that would be my issue not his... Even tho it would be a bit awkward at first, if they got a long great and my son was happy then who am I to say who he dates... I have never said anything to either of my kids about who they date... or why, not my choice... I know a few that there is 20 years age difference and they are super happy. That is all that matters is they are happy no one else's businesses to judge them for being happy... Humm so I say do what makes ya happy and screw the rest of the world~~ it's your life to live... |

Well then you could tell his mom to smack him around a bit, it's all about seniority

Hey, why not if he floats your boat, trips your trigger and blows your skirt up. (Wow 3 stupid cliches) I've done that a lot, just not with guys of course and to think it wasn't cool would be going back to the old double standard.
On a side note, I recently retired after 30 yrs in the music business (mostly) and I'd love to check out your talents if you'd send me a link ;-) |

To date a guy who's mother is younger than you? Asking for a friend...yeah thats it, for a friend. General rule of thumb for me, is if I have to ask if it's appropriate, it's not. Not saying it's right or wrong for you, that's for you to decide, just saying for me in general, if I question it, then it's probably not good, and I error on the side of caution. Although, a little risk every now and then doesn't hurt. :) |

Dating, well, why not. His mother doesn't even need to know. Sex is bound to be fantastic as a younger bloke is still fully functional.
Getting into a relationship with him... different, but as ppl said, to each their own. Could get difficult with his parents & family. What if eventually he wants kids? How bout dealing with his mates who think she's his mom or gran or older sister? She may look good still, but I've yet to see an older woman look like 20-25 or something. Looking good doesn't hide age. Very awkward chit. Not my cup of tea, but if they both want to go for it... |
