I prefer to see a profile too......it is nice to see the type of interests someone else has. If none of them match then what is the point? You have to have something to go on besides a picture.

In general I don't read a profile's text right away, I FIRST check the other things: living alone or with kids, height, anti-smoker or not, his preferences.
Only when all these match with what I am looking for, I read the profile text. Not going to waste my time to then find out we don't match because XYZ.

long distance relationships...hmm my cousin Freddie has met a lady in Pa and he lives in Florida they have been talking on the phone then he flew up last august and they stayed in AC 3 days then he fly back up to Pa 19 days now he's up there again for 4 months she's coming down to florida in march to stay a week she works he's retired...then he's driving up 1500 miles to stay till oct then drive back home it seems like a lot of work but it's working... if you have the time and money it works...I'm for finding someone closer under 100 miles maryanne
