Hi Rosie,
I have noticed the same thing, I recently joined and most of the profiles interested are from India and no profile picture... Let's hope this improves after I have modified "the filters" you should tried as well from the home page in the tabs. Wish you good luck! |

Hello Everyone,
As a response I will say "yes, I do read the profiles". Even if the photo is important to take a first step, to read the profile helps to find out if is a quite decent and normal person, with common things or perhaps is just a weirdo, looking for virtual intimacy ..... Let's wish us all good luck into get interesting people to share each one's goal and expectations. |

I read a persons profile first to determine whether or not imma reply to their message or not
So I'm hoping people read mine before messaging me |
|

Pfffttttt, why would I read a profile? It's a waste of thirty perfectly good seconds I'll never get back again.

What about all those without a bio in their profile? Absolutely nothing to go by.
Nothing to even read, they dont even try. I seem to get a lot of those. *just ask Is just lazy |

Speaking only for myself, if I do decide to get to know someone it is not going to be from a few strung together cliches that are static on a page to me. The only way I am able to determine who I'd like to get to know is via interaction in the forums and messaging.
I do understand that for many people the essay is a selling tool. I respect that. I've chosen to make mine a bit of a joke and it has not stopped me from being contacted by real women and you forum weirdos. |

I just look at pictures and report scammers.
Very seldom there is anything worth reading in profiles, unless it happens to be a forum user. My profile is a joke. |

I DO read profiles. if interests don't have at least one match, I do not contact.
If a person writes me, I read the profile and if not in Nebraska i delete. I had to broaden my settings for mail so I can talk to some on the forums. Good Luck |

Sorry ladies, that term "real men" just doesn't fly anymore, subjectivity at its finest.
