Do you consider responding with anybody who doesn't have there picture posted, or that they do it just isn't of them?

Personally I don't. I think that attraction is important in the beginning. It is our first impression on this person. If they don't have a picture posted of themselves I think that maybe there is a reason why they don't post it.

I guess you really have to look at it logically. I've seen some profiles where the person's pic was beautiful, but the person themselves I found lacking in one field or the other, be it personality or what not. Then again, I have stumbled across profiles with no pics, but the way they expressed themselves in words made want to know them. I guess it all comes down to what you're looking for, physical beauty or inner beauty. I'll take the second over the first any day.

If they write with intelligence, I look at everyone.
I always do wonder; "Why no pic?"; I like to see a REAL face & will ck for a face in their profile. I do respect anyone's right to choose though.

I think a picture posted does help draw interest, least that is my experience.

I CAN BE FRIENDS with ANYONE, but IF THEY wanted to MAKE MORE of tthe FRIENDSHIP?
Then I would WANT TO SEE THEM,,,Not so much because of what THEY LOOK LIKE, but just to SEE if THEY WERE "WHO" they had TOLD ME they were...

People may not feel comfortable with just anyone seeing them on the site. I'm not! Now, if you ask me for a pic, I will look over your profile and if I am interested in what you have written about yourself then I'll ask them to give me an e-mail address and I'll send them a pic or two.

Speaking for myself,

I don't have a picture posted because I get way too many e-mails when I do! I like not posting one so I can get genuine people who aren't JUST operating on hormones to respond to my adds. It's a good way to find out what someone's made of and not waste your time with people who aren't looking for the same things...

If someone wants my pic, Guess it might make a good dart board target.

They can copy and paste my face- on a better body anytime...

I don't have a picture posted yet and there is a reason WHY. I don't have any way to upload one . That is the main reason why some people don't post a picture. Not everybody has an A-one computer set-up. Some of us are poor that way.I do think it is a good thing to post photos but why does everyone automatically assume that you have something to hide just because you don't post a photo on these kinds of sites? People are so judgemental and I do understand the reasons behind it but you can't always judge a book by it's cover, right?
