I've had a few relationships recently... that just didn't fit, and we both realized it, but we didn't want to be alone... so... yeah.

I can see the spaces between your words
the things you’re afraid to say.
I already know what is coming,
I’ve seen it heading my way
Just speak to me for now
allay all of my fears
and later on down the road
someone else will dry my tears.
I know you do not love me
as I do not love you,
but we did not wish to be alone
so what else could we do.
You speak of your confusion
I speak of my remorse
I will leave you to your life
let nature take it’s course.
I know somehow
it all will be alright
and somewhere down this lonely road
the day will change to night
So softly sleeping my memories
will haunt my thoughts no more
I will not think of holding you
or laughing at the store
I will find a new beginning
upon the returning day
but now I face your hiding words
And I hear what you don’t say

Yeah, I wrote it last year I think... I'm mostly pulling out all my old work at the moment... trying to get some critiques and stuff to see where I should go with new peices.

Hannah you write great..don't worry about the critics...you have good flow in your poetry and I enjoy reading it. Keep it up.

I don't worry about critics... I'm happy about my work, good bad or otherwise. I just want to know how I could improve it at all. I really like writers like Emily ****enson, who choses her words so carefully... but I also like Robert Frost, who just takes time to recognise simple moments. I want someday to write a poem that affects people at the same level that theirs do. To really leave a lingering mark.

Well when I read your poems, you leave a lingering mark. You put a descriptive picture in the mind to dwindle on. You use your words rather well to put that flow that you need. You do a great job. KC and I can see it...so you should too.

if u want to improve nearly say what you want when its remorseful
peoples feelings will put the words together and make the pretty things rhyme so people can feel a little bit of sweetness
