I actually not read more profiles.

to drink tea/coffee.
I think the profile is written to read.
so not for decoration.smile2

as a result can be expressed as;
profile information is not a tombstone. a little biography.
to read.

just a different perspective...

 I like that Sahin. "Not a tombstone, a little biography"

Very wise words smile2

Thank you, River.flowerforyou

I hear ya. Sometimes I just like to poke around aimlessly and see where it takes me.

Generally, the main reason I'll view a profile,
is to see where a poster is from.

What I don't get, is why someone would
repeatedly view a profile, every week to
ten days. Creepy chit.

I don't give "bliip" who watches my profile, as it's not very welcoming in the first place.
I really don't expect anybody to like it in the first place...:)

Mine isn't very welcoming either. I used to put more effort into it, but the bots and scammers became too much.

Maybe I should change it back. Right now it's not likely to entice any serious members. Then again, I haven't been very active on the site lately either.

As my personal situation improves, I'm likely to spend more time on the site, but I'm definitely not ready to take on any long distance relationships right now. There aren't many active members from my area. More an observation than complaint. I'm just being realistic. For me, meeting anyone on here would most likely result in a long distance relationship, at least for awhile. How long it stays that way really depends upon the couple.

I know a lot of people are very wary of such relationships, but since I joined Mingle, I've seen a number of long distance relationships actually work out. I've seen members actually move closer to each other and/or marry each other. Not many, but it does happen. It just requires patience.

Bottom line:
I shouldn't let the bots deter me from posting a real profile.

There aren't any members within 75 miles of me...IN MY AGE RANGE..
There's quite a few younger guys, in their 20's and 30's....and, nah..not my style..

On this and other sites, I message members who have a decent, informative profile, in which I see we have some things in common..who happen to be 100+ miles away.
And, I am rebuffed by the "I don't do long distance relationships/ it's too far"...sad2
I even tell 'em right up front I'd *readily* relocate if it came to that...

I like to play Mingle Bingo.

To play, you look at a profile pic, guess if its real or fake, Google image search it. Then go look at what they have in their profile.

You can tell if they are real or not...then proceed with trying to talk to them.

It is hard to know what someone is thinking when they “view” someone’s profile.

Perhaps they are seeing what someone is all about or seeing what is new with the person.
Perhaps they are jacking off to it and rolling on the floor.
Or perhaps they are viewing it out of curiosity and then wiping a tear away because they know they’re not compatible.

What are the reasons you all have actual knowledge of for viewing someone’s profile?

You think the gals are jacking off looking at the guy pics while rolling on the floor?

Well!! I guess I will be looking at them differently from on now

That seriously did not feel right. Please disregard the uncivilized behavior and for the record I don’t usually do that sort of thing.
