I for one have had many, most of them involved the girl I was dating seriously. I only did it because I didn't want them to feel like they were missing out. That's the problem with bi girls/people. If they're still a venture bisexual they tend to feel repressed.

From experience -- there are a lot less future issues if neither of them is particularly attached to you, relationship-wise.

Girlfriend-and-her-best-friend is doable, provided you don't overfixate on the friend.

I haven't had one and I don't think I would go for it. Off the bat I'd say my 1:1 sex has been so awesome consistently with the right person that there's no need to.
