I was saddened when George Kennedy died. He was a tough guy who served 16 years in the army ( and saw battle) during WW2 and became a accomplished actor after that. He played many serous roles but also had a great sense of humor which was shown in his comedy roles

I had the hots for the younger version of Montel Williams. Now not anymore. Too old.

I notice a change every few years in the caliber of actresses and actors in movies.
At one time, stardom meant you not only had to be able to act, you also needed to be able to sing and dance.
On-screen funny was more of a physical slap-stick with dry wit.
Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Rex Harrison, Yul Brynner, Deborah Kerr, Charlton Heston, Anne Baxter, Rita Hayworth, Gary Cooper, Danny Kaye, Virginia Mayo, Boris Karloff, Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, Paul Newman, Craig Stevens, William Hopper, Burt Lancaster, Alix Talton, Kenneth Tobey, John Wayne, Faith Domergue, Dick Van Dyke, Donald Curtis, the list is huge!

There are also actors from my youth that were big stars that are gone or going.

I'm really gonna miss Robert Redford. Just heard that he's doing one more movie, and then he's retiring for good. Loved him in sneakers with Sidney Poitier. And who could forget him and Paul Newman in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid? Damn fine actor. Just don't make 'em like that anymore.

Robert Redford is really great in "Jeremmiah Johnson", a favorite movie of mine.
