Christopher Walken

Because he always plays a role of a person who has something wrong with themselves... mentally.. And I think he plays these parts great because I don't think he is acting.. I think there is something mentally wrong with him.

He is good in serious roles (like The Deer Hunter) and also he is great in comedy roles.. he is hysterical on old Saturday Night Live shows.

Jane Seymore (She is 67 now and never seems to age. As beautiful now as she was 30 years ago)

That guy made bald look good.

OT: Charlton Heston (Yul's costar in The Ten Commandants)

I agree, Poetry. I had seen him with hair but he looked so much better bald.

One of my favourite actresses is Betty Davis.

Ahhhh actors and actresses of our generation Rosie. They don't get any better than that.

OT: Dean Martin (good singer and good actor)

Along with Gene Kelly but I think Fred Astaire was a better dancer.

Ahhh Gene Kelly - I liked him too. Dancing in the Rain, best choreographed dance ever.

A lot of mine have already been named.

Sean Connery is at the top of my list.

Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart are up there too.

But I think the deaths of James Earl Jones or Robert Redford will be gut punches. Both of them have starred in a number of my favorite movies.

Lee Majors is getting up there too. Though not as good of an actor as the others, he starred in a number of iconic t.v. shows. That puts him in the same level as William Shatner, when one stops to think about it.

Charlton Heston

He is my favorite actor. Next to Christopher Reeves.

I met Heston twice. He was a very intelligent man.

"Get your hands off of me you damn dirty apes."

LOL

Thanks for the reminder.

I've watched a lot of his movies over the years.

Of course, I thought we were supposed to be discussing aging actors who are still alive? Matthau passed away in 2000. Jack Lemmon passed away the following year.

@Totto
Harrison Ford is a good one to add. He's now in his 70s.
