Just wondering.
Seems like there's not much action on the forums from Europe.
This are probably already a post, topic and asked.

Are there any statistics?

I, personally, haven't kept track.
But, I've seen many nationalities represented
in the forums.

Canadians = 1%
Europeans = 1%
Asians = 1%

Space aliens = 1%

Which nationality is most present in here?

There are only 3 people that actually participate on the forums.
Any forum, the entire internet.
They each have several profiles and severe multiple personality disorder.
Although many of the personalities claim to be from different parts of the world, they can't do fake accents online so have to rely on poor typing.

Are there any statistics?

Many.
They tend to be made up, though.

In most of the forums you can see far more are viewing than replying. So Im not sure the nationality of those who are reading, but in the threads, in my years on the site, I would estimate about 90 percent of replies are from USA.

On the other hand, in the emails, I get maybe 40 percent from USA and 60 from elsewhere.

Ok, that's interesting.
Is that because of the topics that the rate differs so drastically in terms of answers compare to the overall attendance on this forum?

I think so. I compare it to a high school dance. Lots of people go and just stand around on the walls watching others dance because of whatever reason, maybe they dont want to be watched themselves, they dont feel confident about their skills, or they just enjoy watching.

I think these forums have that same dynamic. I think some people are not confident with becoming a part of the threads due to a fear of being pulled into some of the name calling and harsh judgments that often arise. I think others are just not interested in doing anything but watching others.

There are hundreds of people on Mingle2. Mostly US people actually post Threads and reply to them. Hundreds view threads, who knows where they all are from.

I get emails and friend requests daily from other countries.

Most men I. Email back, never heard of the Forums on mingle2. :smile:

People think Mingle2 is a dating. Site.

Downunder alien here.

USA folk seems most prolific and argumentative in politics and religion forums.
I love to stir them up.
The wallflowers are a mysterious mixed bunch.
The ones wanting your email address don't have english as a first language, so anyones guess as to where they are.

Doing a search for women between 60 and 70, the United States produces 10,000 plus from a population of 300 million + .The same search in the Philippines produces 500 + from a population of 100 million +.It would appear that relatively,Mingle is more popular in the Philippines than in the US.This anomaly could be influenced by numerous factors.One huge difference I have observed is the percentage of Philippino women who claim to be widows (guesstimate 70%).There must be some cultural or social explanation for this.Moral of the story,if you want to reach retirement age,steer clear of Philippino women,they have a deadly effect on their men :wink: Please don't take offence at my attempted humour.I have many Philippino friends,they are the happiest,most caring and generous people one could wish to meet.Sadly two of them are youngish widows.
