I'm male, just turned 71 and still have a full head of long, gray, wavy hair. I love it as I was in the Navy for many years and had to have it cut short which was not to my liking. I don't care what people think as I wear my hair the way I like it now. Besides many of my friends are younger than me and some have no hair at all and I love to tease them for being 'follicly challenged' lol.

yes, he wore the hat on dates. It's ok outside, but not good when inside. Firstly.. Did you stop dating him because of that? Secondly.. Why do you feel that way about hats...or was it a cap? |

To each his own. Perfectly put. I have been aproached by quite a few women that say they like my hair in real life. Online i've had several my if i would cut my hair and shave..... My face.  .

Depends on which women don't you think. Still, personally I think it's better to have long hair and we can always cut it short if she doesn't like long hair ......but the other way around is not possible....by the time hair grows she would've already found some other long haired guy~

I've known two different men that wear caps and when they took it off inside the restaurant, they had bold spot.
I heard that caps make some men go bold .

Had the long hair from teens til about 40 then shaved it. That George Washington, Emmitt Brown (Back to the Future), "Conductor Look" is not cool!@@

Some fools automatically assume you are gay if you are a male with long hair. Many girls / ladies didn't like it, but they wore long hair themselves, often in rediculous 'do's'. The time I did best with women was when I was in my 30's and had dreadlocks; while at the same time some reviled me as an undesirable, or were scared by their preconceptions, or assumed it was dirty and smelly. Many didn't like it when I explained that Stalin and Hitler had neat short hair; and who would cut the hair of father christmas, Jesus, and all the high court judges wigs. Fashion is fickle !

I have a male friend who I've dated, and friends with. We get together once in a while and he wears a baseball cap often. He has a good head of hair, close to being 60 years old with no gray hair (nothing at all wrong with gray hair) but he covers it. I told him after awhile, why wear a hat indoors when you look better without it? I'm not a hat person and I was trying to give him a compliment. Regarding wearing of a cap/hat indoors... it used to be considered bad manners for men to wear a cat/hat at the table. What happened to that anyways? When I see it in restaurants, I feel like saying something, but I don't... |

I prefer men that have evolved from the 60's and that nowadays are clean shaven and shorter hair - no pony tails and man buns..the odd scruffy day is acceptable..whisker burn here and there

a fellas hair is just a part of the whole package. its going to be different for each case. if the whole package is cool, it includes what they decided to do with their hair, usually. jmo I agree...it shouldn't be a topic, as we all, most of us, can either make it grow or cut it...

Longer hair looks good on Vikings ..barbarians and Latin men
Long hair never looks good with hair that is starting to go bald .. in such cases it really is better to shave it off ... Comb overs never look attractive .. trump's hair looks ridiculous ., no matter how much those transplants cost his hair looks fake ..he should shave it all off :-) |
